November Election 1/8 Ads for The Metro Newspaper

These are 3 of the 7 1/8 page ads that I designed for the Metro Newspaper promoting the November 5, 2024 Presidential General Election. I made 10 of these designs in total to provide the executives with more options to choose from for the final product.

Map for the Vote Center Job Fair

This is the interior map of our building where we hosted the Vote Center Job Fair on July 11, 2024. This map designated where specific signage, seating, and staffing would be set up on the day of the job fair, as well as detailing the steps that each applicant needed to follow. After this project, I would then go on to make more maps for subsequent internal events.

November Election 1/8 Ads for El Observador Newspaper

This is one of the 5 1/8 page ads that I designed for the El Observador Newspaper to promote the November 5, 2024 Presidential General Election. This project involved me working alongside our Ballout Layout Division's Spansih Translators to approve all of the language on the final designs.

Now Hiring Ad for Back of Truck

This is a graphic that I made to promote our "Now Hiring" campaign. It was displayed across the County of Santa Clara on the back of a mobile advertising truck, accompanied by a motion graphic on its sides that I also designed and I currently have featured on my "Video Production" page.

Job Fair 1/4 Ad for The Metro Newspaper

This is the 1/4 page ad that I designed for the Metro Newspaper to promote our Job Fair for Vote Center Staff. Similar to the flyers below, it involved me working alongside multiple translators for each of the 9 seperate languages featured on the ad for official verification.

Vote Center Job Fair Flyer

I designed this flyer for the Job Fair for Vote Center Staff. My greatest challenge was finding a way to include the vast amount of required information on this flyer including a link, a phone number, multiple languages, and even a QR code large enough the be scanned from a distance. In the end I took the route of seperating the information into easy to digest blocks, broken up with interspersed graphical elements to accomplish this successfully.

Warehouse Job Fair Phone-Tear Flyer

This flyer is a variation that I made of my Warehouse Job Fair flyer that includes tear-away phone numbers along the bottom for dispersal on community boards and public spaces. This project required me to prioritize the most important information to include in the design in order to make enough room for the tear-away slips at the bottom.

Social Media Graphics for @sccvote

This is a collage of a handful of the social media graphics that I made during my time at the Registrar of Voters. These graphics along with many others were posted on our Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram @sccvote to promote events, spread election information, celebrate holidays, and attract new followers to our various platforms. Each of these projects required research into trending digital marketing strategies, popular meme formats, and a deep knowledge of professional graphic standards that followed the policies and style guides of our department.
