Election Connection Podcast: Episode 10 Promo
This is a collection of some of my Reels and Shorts that I made during my time at the ROV for Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, LikedIn, and occasionally Youtube for our bigger productions. They were created to reach a broader audience than our usual static graphics, and sometimes promote something else we had going on such as a bigger video production or an in-person event. I wrote the script, performed in, recorded and edited most of these videos, and had a lot of creative control with each one.
This project was made to promote pre-registration to younger viewers and involved the premiere of what would become the ROV animated mascot, Toonie. I recorded the audio/video, directed the actors, contributed to the animation, created the graphics, and edited the entire video. It now plays at all business hours on the Atrium TVs of the Santa Clara County ROV.
Episode 9 of our podcast, Election Connection, involved an ivterview with Shannon Bushey, the former Registrar. I was involved in the production of this project including roles in set design, lighting, and filming. The set and lighting/cameras configuration that I set up here would go on to be standard for all foreseeable Election Connection podcasts going forward.
This video was a Youtube advertisement that I designed and edited to promote our upcoming Job Fair for Warehouse Staff. It garnered thousands of views and was a big part of our very successful job fair with hundreds of applicants coming in over the course of the day.
